Default Need your opinions/info!

Hey guys I currently do not own a S2000, yet.
I have couple of good friends that own this car and boy every time I ride in it it makes me want to go to the dealership and buy one at that moment, this car is amazing!!!

Currently I own a scion tC modified with bolt on's and suspension work. But it seems that im not getting what i want out of this car, and every time I see or sit in a S2000 I usually start drooling.

The only thing holding me back from getting this car is its going to be my only and daily driven car. Commuting to school, work, and other places, which means im going to be driving the car all year long. I live in Chicago, and i know the weather can be unpredictable. What do you guys think about this car in rain, snow, etc., because im going to drive it in both conditions throught the year. I know my friends bitch about driving in the rain, and put it in the garage in the winter till spring. I don't have enough money to buy myself a winter car. I need to know what you current owners think. Anything will be appriciated...thanks

It is my DD.
No complaints here.
In any kind of weather.
Adjust your driving to the weather though.
And if possible get another set of wheels with proper all-season / winter tires.
Top down at low temps is fun with heater full on.
(it is not good to operate the top at low temps)

Get used to the lack of storage

You will never get used to
Or the grip of the Bridgestone Potenza S-02's tires in summer
But that only goes for AP1's with 16" wheels.

edit:
Oh yeah.. forgot to say: Welcome

Get MY00 AP1 for fairly cheap and then buy a winter beater.

i'm in chicago area.

if you must get this car, which you must,
you need winter tires!!!!!!

also depending on which neigborhood, a garage or secure place is also very crucial...if you live in not so great neighborhood, forget this car...

your seats will be stolen first.

also depending on how many miles you must put daily...say more than 50 miles... consider getting a beater because highly likely, i'm guessing those miles will be spent on morning/evening traffic doing manual shifting, putting lots of unenthused miles...
