Default Never imagined I'd buy an S2000 but here we are...

I had been casually looking to buy a small sports car for about a year eventually considering the new MX5. During a conversation with a close friend, he mentions his dad would sell me his car. I had never considered an S2000 but I knew the guy takes great care of his cars. A few emails and two test drives later, I drove home with this beauty! Very low mileage, never driven in the rain, and all scheduled maintenance accounted for.
Thrilled to be a part of this community and looking forward to contributing.

Welcome. You did well I think.

Although I don't see any coolant in the overflow tank.

Probably should refresh some fluids but otherwise that's nice looking AP1.

Looks very clean, congrats!

I was in the same boat as you were. I had my eyes on an '02 Miata SE, but just happened to come across an S2000 that was within my price range on AutoTrader, and as soon as I found out that it was still for sale, I knew I found what I wanted.

What year and mileage? Looks good from the limited vantage points. Post up some more pics.

Now that's a good friend. I'm only surprised that it took more than a single test drive. Welcome to S2000 ownership and this forum. You'll find a lot of informative individuals around here.

I immediately knew I wanted the car but I just needed to step away to make sure. To quote my wife during the first drive, "Are you crying?" haha...
So yes, I loved the car the moment I took her out.

Man that is one super clean engine bay. To me, that's a sure sign the rest of the car was treated with the respect it deserves. Nice purchase.
My girlfriend doesn't like mine at all.

Some Silkolene Pro-Prep would take it to the next level.
