Default New '07 Pricing

I wanted to get an idea of what people were getting offered by dealers with the April/May incentive still in place. I didn't post this in S2000 market prices thread because it had used prices in there too. So if you bought a new '07 S2000 recently or was given a quote, please post it up.

The lowest offer i got so far is $29,388, but i feel it should be lower. Anyone else?

I just bought an 07 LBP at the end of April. I was patient and worked with several dealerships in my area for a few weeks until I got them down to a decent price. I forget what the exact price was, somewhere around $28800. I do know my OTD was $30,250. North Carolina only has a 3% tax on cars though.

I went to VIP Honda and the best they would give me is 32,000+TTL I'm not sure why it's so high. They ARE in NJ so that might be why... demand is a bit higher here than in other states. Should I just walk away from this if they won't go lower?

Directly from the salesman's mouth, "Hondas don't sell below invoice"

Thats easy. Yes. The guy's a liar since Honda's obviously DO sell below invoice, as evidenced by all the people here who've recently bought one. Take your money to someone who deserves it.

Thanks that makes me feel better. I will play hardball with him tonight and see if I can get it lowered before I sign. I already told him that we will have to work on new terms. I'll just get up if he pisses me off.

Go online and get some quotes from other dealers and if you get one you like see if they'll price match it. Just print out the email.

VIP honda is crap. When I was looking for an 04/05 they had two of them one red one black. They are both 05 with about 20k miles. I went there and the salesman said they want 27,500. After talking to him he lowered it to 25,700 which is still high. This was about a month and a half ago and everytime I go by that dealer they are still there. The salesman new/used suck there.

I would avoid that dealership.

Really until now I've only heard good things about them I guess the jokes on me but I'll see if I can talk him down. There is still a red '05 there I saw when I went to TD. I'll see if I can get him down to 30k-31k + TTL. I really want to take advantage of these dealer cashback and see if they will take the bait. Hopefully they will play the game with me or they will lose a sale.
