Watching it snow outside is really making it hard to swallow selling the WRX

With that said, Insurance has been called, and the loan has been pre-approved, so I should be the proud new owner of an AP1 very soon

Im also 25 and I pay 85$ a month for full coverage for my AP1. I have a clean record, what did they quote you?

Well, I live in MI, which has the highest insurance rates in the country. I got quoted $140/month, down from $192/month for my WRX. I do have 1 "at-fault" claim (which is really kinda BS) on my record, but that will drop off in about 1.5 years, so it will be lower then.

I will be moving pretty soon, and that will help things out quite a bit. I'll likely move (back) to Memphis area, or Minneapolis area. I just talked to a State Farm agent today, and was quoted $210 for full coverage on both the WRX and the S2000 in Memphis. That same coverage would be $320/month here in MI for both cars.

Looks like the WRX might have a new home. S2K should be here by March, along with the WRX's potential replacement! The S2K isn't quite practical enough to be my only car.

WRX Just sold today. S2000 has been paid for and is sitting at my GF's house. I pick it up this weekend, and will get some pics of ASAP.

New tires (Star Specs) are being installed this weekend.

Goodridge lines, Hawk pads, and ATE fluid will be done during the week.

Thanks!

I sure will miss it, but I am very excited about the S2000. I think I'll miss the torque, at least for a little while.

Here is a pic my GF sent me of the S2000. Can't wait to get back into town tonight. Headlight refinishing is #1 on the list.

My buddy and I took some pics yesterday, I'll post them as soon as he gets them uploaded and re-sized.

As for the car, it needs a few of the usual things, but nothing major. Billyman's TCT is on the way, New seat bottom cushion is on the way, Star Specs about to be installed, along with stainless brake lines and hawk pads. I absolutely love the car.

I don't have any plans any major mods, just brake stuff and good tires for now. Call me a nerd, but I just love the car in it's stock form.
