hi welcome, i came from a subie as well. i had a black wrx but it was totaled by a chick that ran a red light -_-

im in the south bay so not too sure about meets, im sure someone that knows will chime in . i miss my subie too but i love my s2k. enjoy the car and be safe.

 

Awesome! yeah i had a 1993 impreza L that i did a 2005 wrx swap and awd conversion; ended up selling it... i think ive heard about the southbay meet, i used to live out that way.

 

i think the south bay meet is dead. i know people still meet up at torrance crossroads but i dont think it is s2k specific. i love the gc imprezas (best looking imo), how come you sold it?

had to sell it 'cause the wiring harness wasnt wired properly, and too many electrical issues.... it had a good run when it actually did run! i love gc8's hence >>gc8luve LOL!

Bah, I picked up a Suzuka and I don't think its girly. I am originally from the IE (909 namely) - Yucaipa, if you can truly consider it part of the IE, I think Redlands really is probably the eastern most extent of the true IE but anyway, lived there until 2008 and then moved to Texas. I peruse the Inland Empire Subforum and it seems they haven't had a meet in well over a year, at least as far as the UC Riverside crew goes (my alma mater for undergrad, 2004). Welcome to the Forum and congrats on the purchase. I am in Rancho Cucamonga. There used to be meets every Wed put they were put on hold. I'll let you know if any meets come up or feel free to contact me.
