After about 2 years of lurking I am the owner of a 2005 GPW AP2 with 129k miles. Pretty stoked! I found the car on Car Gurus and it was in Alabama and I knew white with tan was rare. I rode my motorcycle down from St. Louis, MO to get it right away. The dealer was cool with my trade so that was a miracle too. It was a 10 hour ride down on the bike and I had plenty of traffic and bad drivers--10 hours with no wind shield! I knew it was going to be my last motorcycle ride. Upon seeing the car it was as good as the pictures and the dealer facetimed me prior to as well. I was impressed and after seeing about 5 S2K, I knew this was one that was nice enough to call mine. The car is pretty nice but needs all the basics to get back up to near 100%. CV cups cause vibration and TCT and belt all need some work. Other than that, I am very happy. I'll post pics soon. I am in the St. Louis, MO area. Also looking to trade the HKS exhaust for a stock setup if any of you are interested.
