You won't notice the gain from an intake alone. Enjoy the car for now, new tires are a must...

I still have the stock tires, with almost all the tread, so far so good, I would feel horrible just throwing hat rubber away. Is it that bad that the tires ae three years old??? I mean it has almost all the tread.

if it's a 2005 then tires=4 years old.. that's a long enough period of time for them to degrade I would say. easiest way to tell how old the tires are is look at the serial # on them. I think the last 4 digits are month/year that they were made. . I had 3 year old tires with good tread and switched and could tell instantly that it made all the difference. If you are just scooting around then I'd imagine they will be alright. but I wouldn't go nuts on them.

Yeah, im not doing anything crazy with them, I just basically do my errands on the weekends, maybe a few take offs now and then just to see what the girls got. I think ill wait on the tires. But who knows...
