Default New Guy In Washington State

So I have been a member for a few months now but never really introduced myself nor have made it out to any of the meets. My name is Justin and I daily a Silverstone AP1 that I picked up back in April. This is my first S2000 and so far I'm liking it. I have been always wanting to own a S2K for quite some time now and when my 04 STI met its untimely demise I stumbled upon this poor beaten girl at a dealership and decided that it was time for a new platform to learn and grow in. I think it was the fact that I hate seeing great cars not being brought to their true potential that made my decision to buy it that much easier. She needs a lot of work...A LOT...

A little bit about the car...
MY00 Silverstone
Stock Engine
God Snow Exhaust(bought car with it, needs something different)
Buddy Club N Spec Coilovers
Invidia Test Pipe
Black AP2V1 rims
Stock hood with vents cut out
Dents for days(purchased like that)
Previous owner did a horrible job fender rolling so there is bad paint damage and just a bunch of all bad on the rear fenders.
Car was slammed and has some pretty good scrape damage.
Visible damage on the front fenders on the bottom from what looks like being high centered on a decent size speed bump.

A little bit about myself...
I have a good amount of drivers experience, a lot of which was gained in Okinawa, Japan from sanctioned RCCA events and drifting with crazy ass locals.
I have always been around cars and always worked on my own cars. My Philosophy you'll never learn unless you do it.
I have owned quite a bit of cars all different platforms, each of which helped me learn more...86 Foxbody Mustang, 96 S14, 89 GTR R32 Skyline, 99 STI wagon, 93 Miata, 04 STI.
I like learning new things. That's why I love Motorsports there is always room for improvement.

Plans for this car...
Im actually unsure of the route I want to go with this. What I do know is that she is a long way from being anything good. More focused on getting her body back to a good point and making her look pretty nice.

My expectations of this forum...
I just want to be to get along with people that share the same views I do and get advice for this new platform.

Don't have very many pics of Tsukiko(name of my S2K) but I will post some soon.

Thanks for reading guys.

Welcome! Make sure you come out to our Baker Run (joint event with the Vancouver and PNW groups), it will likely be the last Saturday in May.
