Default New S2K Owner Here! AP1 Silverstone

Hey guys. My name is Jim and I am officially the proud owner of an AP1 Silverstone S2000!
My budget for the car, registration, and initial modifications was only 15K, so it took quite a bit of research to put this car together.
It might not be the fastest, lowest, or cleanest S there is, but I could honestly not be happier!
I have already done a few canyon runs in the car, and I must say, the S2000 is a true sports car.
My previous vehicle was a Z33, and the S makes it feel like a dang minivan around the bends. lol.
I live in the San Fernando Valley (near LA), and I am really excited about going to some car meets with you guys!

I purchased the car bone stock last Friday, and had all of the modifications done at Evasive Motorsports yesterday.
I want to thank Randy for helping me put my dream car together. I still have no idea how you found every part I requested in just 3 days.

Here is a list of the mods on the car:

Wheels: Semi-Gloss Black Gram Lights 57DR (17x9+38 Square)
Tires: Yokohama S.Drive: (Front 225/45/17) (Rear 245/40/17)
Springs: Tein S.Tech (I only wanted a subtle drop for the car. I daily drive this thing through some pretty ugly road conditions)
Fender Work: All Corners Rolled, Lining Trimmed, Bumper Tab Relocation
Camber Settings: Front -2.25 Degrees, Rear -3.5 Degrees
Lug Nuts: Muteki SR48 (Burning Blue Finish)
Shift Knob: Blox 490g Spherical (Neo Finish)

Here are some pics:

Sorry for posting so many pictures, I am just really stoked on this car.

Also, Feel free to poke fun at my goofy racing gloves.
That shift knob gets hot as **** in this weather.. lol.
Plus, when I'm at the touge I feel like I'm in an Option video.

Hopefully once I am a little more educated, I can contribute to this awesome community.

Nice ride man. I love the wheel/tire combo and the drop definitely makes the car look more aggressive. Welcome

Thanks man! I know a lot of guys would have gone lower, but I feel the fitment is just right for daily use.

Great info. I knew about the secret compartment before I bought the car, but the gas flap release was a whole different story. I felt like such an idiot standing at the gas station for 5 minutes trying to find the button. lol.
I will definitely pursue some of that maintenance advice.

Love it man, I was in a pickle between an 03 silverstone and an 03 NFR but the price was right on the NFR and it was better maintained than the silverstone so I had to jump on the NFR. Really digging those lugs!

I know this threads been on here for a while. Lol. But I just got my ap2 last year and these are the wheels I'd like to have. Can you tell me how far they stick out from the stock fenders. I don't plan to roll fenders. Thanks.
