Default New here got some questions!

sorry im sure you guys will tell me to search first but i do apologize.

I currently drive a 93 Honda Prelude with h22a swap. see pics:

anyways im looking to be owning an AP1 within the next 3-6 months.... what should I be looking for when shopping for an s2k? also im looking to only spend 16k i know that probably limits me to a 00 with around 50k miles which is fine with me but most likely all i'll be able to afford the payments on. so please help advise me on what i want to look for when shopping. like i guess id want the oem front lip on it but what else if anything?

o also im looking to sell my prelude for somewhere in the 5-7k range so that would be my down payment..

Umm I mean basically look for anything you normally would when buying a used car. Take it for a test drive and listen and feel for things that may not seem normal... The '00 models will have the plastic rear window so make sure its not torn or anything. Make sure the convertible top matches up with the windsheild. Get a carfax history report. Any all the other normal used car buying things like body damage, if it looks repainted. yada yada yada.
ps: nice lude.

try autotrader, I have seen some that are 16k for around 44k mileage, but your mileage may vary because i was searching 100mile within my zip code distance,I don't know about yours.

you may also want to try eBay -- some people laugh when they hear eBay. I personally see nothing different from other car sites, except that it may even be better since there are ratings.

Nevertheless, good luck!
