New And Here To Learn!
Don't fall for the "there is someone else looking at the car and they are coming later today so if you want this one you have to decide now" kinda car-sale-trick.
You'll be climbing up the ranks in team16niss with a S2000

Hey! Welcome to the forums! If your thinking about getting an s2k I would probably get an 02-03. Thats because they had the glass for the rear windshield as oppose to plastic (00-01 models).
However, if you like the car more raw then the 00-01 models are the way to go! Also I think you could swap in a new convertible top from an 02-03 model if you choose to replace it.
As for the 04-05 models is where the changes really occur between the 00-03 models. In the 04-05 models you have a 2.2motor (instead of the 2.0), a little more power throughout the powerband. A softer ride, bigger wheels (17" as oppose to 16"), and a little more interior space.

The S will make your Civic seem, well, like a bus. Trust me, my once beloved Civic is now playing a distant second fiddle to its younger and sexier sister. This car will fit you like your favorite pair of jeans and you won't want to take it off. Avoid the post test drive impulse buy, though. Give it a night to sleep on!
Best of luck!
