Hey guys/gals. New member here. I have always been a fan of Honda/Acura, but I have always steered in the direction of Euro performance, such as VW/Aud.

I am currently looking to get a RWD car , and have been considering an older S2000, like 2006 or so, or even considering Corvette's as well, and even the New BMW 335i, but the car payments will remain about the same as the Audi, lol.

I currently drive a 2007 Audi A3 2.0T FSI with 382hp / 342 ft lbs tq. It will currently run a 12.50, and I LOVE the car, but I am just ready for a new car.

How much money minus the purchase of the car would I be looking at for around 450hp with the S2000? Are there any well developed production turbo kits? I must have this car turbo'd if I purchase. How safe can I achieve this on the stock bottom end? If I need to build the car up down the road I will, but I am just trying to get a basis of where I would start!

Thank you in advance. I am pretty dumb when it comes to Honda's , but my first vehicle many moons again during high school, was a Prelude SI with theH23A1 engine, non Vtec, so I am semi familiar with the Honda basics.

You would be better off getting the vett (Z06?)... S2K's are not known for their "BLAZING" straight line acceleration. I'm just speculating, but 8K - 14K (depending if you DIY, among other factors) would not be unrealistic; because you need to address clutch and diff issues when you start talking that kind of HP. PM profpin, he's an S2K mechanic, he can set you up

 

There's a red one FS thats already turbo in Carolina. Might be something good to start with and upgrade from there
