Glad to see so many enthusiast out there with good information. I've had my S2000 about 1 year now. I use it as a daily driver and also enter high speed driving events at various tracks. Has anyone tried increasing the front tire size from the stock 214/45-17 to 225/45-17?

Thanks,
Ben

225/45-17 is a common tire upgrade with the S2000.
I am running 225/45-17s on the front and 255/40-17s on the rear.

So what kind of speedo error do you see? You have no problems with stock rims I assume? What kind of tires are you running? Thanks!

Welcome to the site.

I have 225/45R17 and 255/40R17 on stock rims now. Not much of a difference in speedo change.

I run 235/45/17 front and 275/40/17 rear and my speedo is only off by about 3 mph.

Thanks for the information. Any suggestions as far as grip? Which brands seem to work well vs which to avoid?

Thanks,
Ben
