yeah i know they arent going up in value..

but i want a "new" car... so very low mileage is a must, with no accidents or anything of that nature.

 

Could your girlfriend co-sign for you? That would probably be the best step to take if you were going to go through with the car.

As for "finding the right car", you'll find that the "perfect" car comes along more than you'd think. Odds are, 6 months from now if you waited, you'd find another ideal car. I've had it happen many times (especially back when I was looking at RSXs and RX8s). Fortunately I waited it out a bit longer and I was able to afford a newer, nicer car.

And that's another factor too. Say 6 months from now, you're more financially able than now, and you can afford an even newer, lower mileage s2k. I mean, I never thought I was going to end up with an ap2, but nevertheless, I waited it out a bit and I was able to afford it.

Whatever you chose to do, good luck. Sounds like you'll definitely be in an s2k soon, no matter what path you take. And it'll be worth the wait if you do.

thanks for all the advice guys.. whether everyone tells me to get it or not to.. its still advice and thats what i asked for and i appreciate the responses.
About the loan.. we talked to the bank she's going through, and it can be put into my name in a few months (whether that makes a difference or not) im not pushing to get it by any means.. we'll just see how everything falls together... if i get it, then i get it.. if i dont, like everyone has said.. there will be another deal down the road.
