New Owner
Hey everyone,
Alot of the same story here... I've wanted one for a long time, but it just wasn't in the cards before. Finally was in the position to get one and I think I found a pretty good specimen.
Its an '01 Silverstone. Bought it from the second owner with 47,500 miles on it. It was dusty/dirty as hell when I saw it. (he lived out int he country down some back roads) but I could see past all that and it really is in excellent condition. the front bumper shows the worst wear with a few scratches especially on the lower lip, but nothing a respray and an OEM lip can't fix. The interior is in great shape. Passenger seat is mint, and the drivers seat, I'd day, is def above average. The soft top is great too and I just used some Mothers plastic cleaner on the rear window and headlights and they are gorgeous.
I've already filled the front plate holes, and bought a CR shift knob with red lettering. I thinks its 100% more comfortable than the stock knob. For now she gets daily driven and enjoyed the way it was meant to, especially on some nice SouthWestern PA country roads. I'm going to run it as is for the rest of the year (a set of Blizzaks for the winter) with plans building for the spring including wheels/tires definitely, perhaps some suspension, and we'll see about a little bit of performance (intake and exhaust)
Enjoy!

love the front bumper, that's what mine looked like when i took ownership. i got an ebay oem style lip off ebay for a hundred bucks, sprayed it myself (did lots of sanding) and it covered up those scrapes beautifully. four hundred for a honda oem lip, whatever...
Nice one! Sounds like you cleaned it up really well, good job dude.
However i want that cover you have when you got the top down.
Anyone could please let me know a website where i can order it, looks awesome?
Thx

Thanks guys. Yeah I use the cover whenever I can. especially if I know its a longer drive and worth the time to put it on. I love it and the look. Its definitely worth the effort and the pinched fingers. Mine is in pretty good shape, again it was so dirty, the guy left it in his garage. I vacuumed the underside and took some Armor-All to the outside and it looks great. only 1 or 2 minor scratches.
