Today I purchased my first S2000. It's an '03 Berlina Black. 96,000 miles and the slightest of hail damage. Forgive me if I ramble a little. I bought it from a dealer who was asking $11,998 and I got it down to $8,400. Fairly proud of that. I'm 19, in school and working two jobs for this things. Bank teller and radio host. I've wanted an S2000 for as long as I can remember. I must have been 9-10 years old going to the Honda dealership with my folks buying an Accord when I first saw one. My first car in fact was a 5-speed 1990 Accord with 256,000 miles. Ran like a champ. And that was good for 2 years, but the last 3 I drove a Nissan 200 5-speed because an old lady needed to get rid of it and I'm too nice. At my house right now we have an '08 Civic (dad's), '12 CRV (mom's), and an '04 Accord (little sister) that just turned over 200,000 miles. I'm happy to be back in the Honda family. VTEC is my friend. I don't plan on adding anything to the performance side of the car. I believe Honda spent a lot of time making it exactly how they wanted to and I trust them and want to respect that. It's darn near perfect anyways. But I'll probably add a better sound system although the entire day today I had the radio on mute and didn't even miss it. Maybe a new shift knob, we'll see. I'm very content with the car as a whole. I got the color I wanted by chance and everything. Today was a good day.

Congratulations! It's great that you're going to keep it mostly stock IMHO.

Thanks y'all, I'm definitely spending my time getting to know the car and perfecting the shifts before I do anything crazy. I don't know how to post photos
