Default New owner for Central PA

Morning all!

I wanted to post in here quick to formally introduce myself. I'm a long time (12+ years) member for the "tuner scene" or whatever you'd call it. But this is the first S2000 I've owned. Over the years I've had multiple 350z, VW R32, couple of Audi's, IS250, some Maximas, and a Honda Prelude.

My first love was the Prelude I purchased back in high school. It was only 2 years old at the time but I'll never forget going to pick it up and seeing the black S2000 sitting at the dealer. It was 2000 at the time, and the S2000 was a rare car. I knew I'd own one later in life, because at the time it was way out of reach. It's funny because only a few years later right out of college I could have bought one but got a 350Z. For whatever reason the added power seemed to be appealing at the time.

Anyhow fast forward to today and I can have a couple cars to enjoy and not worry about. I got the S2000 a month or so ago. It's a 2000 w/ only 24k miles! Perfect in every respect. The mods so far are GReddy TI 70mm single, Buddy Club coil overs, OEM front lip, and custom powder coated bronze RPF1s w/ Kumhos. I'm still working on the wheel fitment as 17x9 all around isnt the easiest thing to make work. Thankfully I had the fenders done but it's still a tight fit.

So here is the crappy picture of my car as it sits today. And a few others of my past vehicles. I'm currently driving an Acura RDX + the S2000 on the weekends.

I've found that I get bored easily with cars. The list above is over the course of 10 years, but doesn't include many other vehicles such as Mini, A4, A3, RDX, GLI, LR3. Living here close to the Manheim auto auction has helped fuel this. Buying at wholesale makes it much easier to flip in/out of cars. Anyhow the S2000 is here to stay and I'm very happy to be apart of this community.

Congrats! All of your cars are very clean. I hope you can join us @ Tony Lukes on Oregon ave, Phila for the monthly meet. It's the last wednesday of every month around 7-8PM. I like your color choice. Have fun in your S!
