Default New Owner in CT - Long Time Looker - 2001 Spa Yellow

Good morning friends!

LONGTIME Lurker here, been waiting for the right time to buy a s2000 for almost 10 years, coming close twice and never able to find the right moment. Well, that moment finally came -- got myself where I need to be in life, the support of the wife and I have finally joined the club.

Say hello to my 2001 AP1 Spa Yellow with 40,000 miles on it. Car was originally owned by an old man for almost 17 years, he passed away and sold it and the buyer unfortunately got rear ended. Car was "totaled", was rebuilt and their loss is my gain. The damage from the total was insanely over dramatic, I have all the pictures from before and there was no frame damage, only a ripped off back bumper and some muffler damage and a little rear panel dents, even spoke to the reputable shop who fixed and they did an amazing job. I had it meticulously inspected by another shop, did a test drive and she purrs like she has 40,000 miles. Everything is in mint condition and I am SUPER happy at the deal I got. Can't wait to get her out in the sun and join the community.

Looks great!

So long as you’re ok with the accident on record and you know the repair was done properly, I don’t see why you won’t get this car. Sounds like you got it at a great price. Enjoy it!

Beautiful car. Although, remember their are a lot of "old" men active on the site and some don't necessarily enjoy being reminded - they enjoy their S just like little boys.

BEAUTIFUL car.

Although, do you have a history of the paint work?

It looks more Rio Yellow Pearl (AP2) than it does Spa Yellow (AP1). Or perhaps it's the lighting?

Beautiful car still!

The more I look at it, the more it does seem like after the accident it they painted it rio. All the pics of Spa Yellow cars are lighter than mine... this is interesting but good news because Rio is a better color IMO.
