Hello, I've just recently purchased a MY02 with about 114k miles. This is my daily, I previously had an automatic 89 mustang GT. I'm posting here to get introduced to the life of driving an S2000. I live in the northeast and was wondering what kind of oil would be good to use. From what I've found I like the idea of the 5W-30. It can get pretty cold here in RI but rarely below 0 degrees Farenheit. This is also my first manual car so I have nothing to base my experience on. Would appreciate an experienced drivers opinion. Sometimes when moving from reverse to 1st the engine will make the noise it does when it's rpms are getting too low even with the clutch fully depressed. And when shifting the knob sometimes feels like I have to nudge it into gear and I can feel it hitting something when it goes in. I'm not sure how to describe it but I can feel it in my hand and it shifts and goes into gear perfectly aside from that. Overall this car is amazing to drive and I can't get enough of it! I'm very happy with my purchase! Thank you for your time in advance!
