Default New owner here

Just picked up my new baby!

2003 silverstone S2K w/ black insides. 2318 ORIGINAL MILES!!!! Well, now its around 2500!

Loving the drive! I have wanted one of these ever since my buddy had one back in '02. Coming from a Bullitt Mustang, this is quite a change, and i really like the way this car handles, the quality of the materials, and the Vert.

Looking foward to being an active member here.

The story at the dealer was that somebody bought it for his wife, she had it for just a little while, and she passed away. He had it sitting in his garage for sentimental reasons/figured he's drive it. He traded it in on 6/11 and I bought it on 6/13. it has 2600 miles on it now!

Man I love it, I just had the windows tinted since in texas it was 101 yesterday, that black gets HOT.

I have been reading through the forums and it seems like peopel hate the paint (too thin/chips alot) mine has a tiny scratch on the passenger front fender, and a couple tiny chips already. Probably better that it does so I won't go nuts over it when it gets more chipped up. I threw 3 coats of wax on the front bumper and the front edge of the hood and I will stay far behind other traffic, drive the hell out of it, and call it a day.

I was really suprised/scared when it was at 4000 rpm on the highway, my old car redlined at 6500! So I have also gathered that it is the best to drive the car around in 3rd if I am at 30-40, 5th at 45-55, not in 6th till after 60, etc. This is supposed to be the best for the car, tranny, MPG, etc, right?
