I recently purchased an unmolested 2001 Honda S2000 finished in silverstone with a factory hard top. I first drove an S2000 in 2001 and it took me 17 years to actually add one to my small stable of cars. I have to say that it is an incredibly fun car to drive and it really is a "driver's" car. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles and it is pretty cool that this car can do everything cars costing thousands more can do.
Here are a few pictures.
Thanks, everyone. It is super clean and I was VERY impressed when I drove 200 miles to see it. Being a stickler for car detailing over the years, I am always impressed by people who spend time taking care of their vehicles. It has 80k on the clock but to me it looks a couple of years old with sub 20k on it.
I paid 14k for it. I am not sure if that is a decent deal or not but this one was leaps ahead of others in that price range, especially being that it was not modified and had a hard top. This car had two owners, 8 and 9 years respectively and they knew each other, therefore the whole history of the car was known and shared. If I overpaid for it I don't feel too bad about it because it is exactly what I was looking for and I am very picky about condition and maintenance.

I think you got it at a smoking deal considering the hardtop. It's like paying $10k for the car. Congrats!
Where was it listed? Was the $14k their original asking price?
It was on cars.com for a bit. It listed and I bought within days. I had to give full price because there were literally 5 people ready to buy it if I passed on it. I have no reason to believe that was a bluff.
