Actually, a picture of that fancy steering wheel would be nice! I have not heard anyone mention the Type V S2000 in quite a while. Enjoy it!

Awesome. You're right, it's hard to see the coloring in that light.

I think the VGS option is very rare (and was never available in the USDM). Let us know how you like it!

1. You can change your status from enthusiast to owner by modifying your profile in teh MyS2K page (see the white link at the top of this page).

2. Make sure to keep a close eye on your oil at every fillup. These early engines do tend to use some up.

You're welcome. Be vigilant. It will continue to happen. Nothing is wrong, it's just the way the MY00 - MY03 were manufactured.

Thanks for all the interest in my Type V guys.

If you have some free time check this site out, http://world.honda.com/news/2000/4000707.html

I think it has my car's colour and also the specific VGS steering wheel the car comes with.

Enjoy!

I was wondering, did you drive any AP1s without the VGS before deciding on the type V? It seems Honda really didn't go anywhere with this technology for one reason or the other. Just curious...

Um yeah i drove one without it. Just feels like the normal cars you drive.

Fell in love with the VGS. Some people love it some people hate it. Its personal preference i guess...

I actually like how its pretty effortless in low speeds but just teaching my self not to turn the steering wheel too much cos the car oversteers like hell with the VGS. But you get used to it
