New owner with a nice ap2
Hi all,
This is indeed a great car, but after driving it more the last few days, not the car for me. I have started a search for something else and the S2000 will go up for sale.
Thanks for all the support and advice. Not sure if I should consign it here locally in Atlanta as there are many places to do so or list here in the forum.
Thanks,
Alan

That's good.
Consider whether to put all you can (except the sound system) back to stock. Might be more work and expense than it makes sense to take on. But, something to consider at least. You will have to disclose the mods were made - certainly if asked - so maybe it doesn't make sense.
Also, you might have to be a member here to list on the classifieds. I can't remember.
If you are in to torque, maybe a Tesla? I hear Tesla's have torque galore. The guy I bought my 03 from (he was original owner) bought a Tesla and he loves the thing. He is in his 70's. The age thing makes a difference for many. Not me - I'm still a youngster at 68.
I'm sticking with the 9K redline and the screaming 4 banger.

@1niceap2 , as the car is so clean with only 22K miles on it and no engine modifications, your best bet when it comes to maximizing your return for the car would be to re-install all of the OEM parts before selling the car. Then sell the aftermarket stuff separately (you're pretty much just giving them away if you leave them on the car). However, that does represent some work and takes a fair bit of your time. If you do sell it as is, then I would suggest including all of the OEM parts and noting their inclusion prominently as part of your listing for the car.
It seems to me that you're making the right choice by the way. These cars aren't for everyone and since you have no built-up attachment to the S2000, my guess is that you'll likely be much happier in a different car altogether rather than trying to change the basic character of this car as it was designed.

Thank you for understanding and all your suggestions. Next will be to either become a member and actively market the car. I have a figure in my head, but don’t want to put a price that would not get calls on the car.
thanks,
Alan

Thanks. Getting traded in on Porsche Turbo. I did not want to bother trying to sell it outright. Has not been traded yet, but in process.
Thanks everyone for your input and support.
