Hi everyone this is my first post. I am considering getting an s2000. I have owned and just recently sold my dream car and now want a car I can drive and enjoy. Something I will be able to really use. I will be wanting to purchase a turbo/modded car. Or one I can build up. What kind of power/lbs w meth can I expect on a stock motor before I run into problems. Is there anything I should know before choosing a year? Is it better to have an ap1 or ap2 for turbo purposes and why. I should mention the car will never be tracked only street use. Thanks in advance for your help.

From my reading and what not, 2006 and above are better for mods due to the fact that they have more tuning options available.

 

I always assumed DBW cars were less desirable in terms of modding? I've been out of the S game for a while now though..
