Ahh I thought so! There weren't many 6K mile Silverstone AP2s for sale on the East coast in recent past. I bought this one: http://www.bridgewateracura.com/used...6e2423375b.htm. '05 Silverstone with 6,800 miles.
Do you mind sharing what your final sale price was for the car? Myself and another forum member here did not manage to get much of a discount (hundreds off the asking price, versus thousands), and I think that might help future s2000 buyers out when shopping at Bridgewater. We both bought 6K mile '05 models for $24,800 back in November of last year.

Ya done good!
64 hundred miles!?
The break-in oil should still be in the engine. Stuff like coolant and brake/clutch fluids are on a 3-year schedule regardless of mileage. Tires will be suspect due to dry rot. I'd put new RE11A Bridgestones on the car if it was mine. I put 'em on my '06 last summer.
Great part of the country for the car. I think there's a G'burg meet-up scheduled in a couple of months.

Thanks Chuck. I'm going to have all the fluids changed. Will check the side walls for cracking. And will probably replace them regardless. Of all the tires to pick from what made select the RE11A? It is a great place for the car. I'm going to retrack all my motorcyle roads I've done in the past. What are you driving?
Thanks,
Rick

The oil change schedule for the '06 and later is determined by the Maintenance Minder and the engine computer. 7500 miles is the nominal interval so it won't hurt to change your oil. Same for the transmission and differential. Even I was able to do both these with the right wrenches, lubricants, and a pair of $4 bottle pumps. Download the '05 manual for the schedules. Read the maintenance section here, it's well thought out and full of good information.
I've had great experience with Bridgestones on several varieties and vintages of cars and the RE-11As are Tire Rack Rated as Ultra Performance a step above the "merely" Max Performance Michelins.
I look at tire wear ratings and in my (limited) experience the softer 200 rated tires are better at cornering, etc; than 300 rated. There's a new Bridgestone RE-71R tire available later this spring that shaves a second off lap times at some Japanese track. No experience here as yet. The RE-11A tires are non-directional so they can be swapped side to side to equalize wear if necessary. They have a inner and outer side but the outer side stays outside when the wheels cross to the other side of the car.
I have a Silver '06 that would have been an '07 if it's been made about three weeks later. Looks exactly like yours but all black inside. Beautiful car! New to me last July from a big Honda dealer in Columbus with 38 thousand, (not hundred!) on the clock. Came with non-OEM wheels and Dunlap tires I swapped out for OEM wheels and Bridgestone RE-11As as fast as I could. Car is nearly completely stock but I couldn't resist the sound of the K&M intake and (while I swore I'd not do it!) there's an Invidia Q300 exhaust sitting in the garage waiting to go on the car. Look for this exhaust for sale if it's too loud!
That's about it other than a CR shift knob and clear "JDM" side markers. All OEM parts have been preserved. Oh yeah, a shift beeper will go on as well. I've hit the rev-limiter a couple of times and don't like to.
I intend to take the Mid-Ohio race course one-day performance driving class in this car this spring. I've yet to hang the tail out -- probably thanks to the VSA and not my driving skills -- and want to do it the first time in a controlled location so I learn the proper actions. We all think we know how to drive and shoot but my shooting experiences have convinced me that self-taught skills no matter how good they seem can be inefficient or downright dangerous.
Motorcycle roads are ideal for this car. Some good sites on the web for these. She's off the ground and under cover until (probably) April so it's too early for me to run over to G'burg (although the tunnels are almost worth the trip).

^^^Great area to own a car like the S, though it would be nice if winters were not so long
, however every spring it's like getting a new car for us that garage them all winter. I'll be starting my 14th season with my S this year. You may want to join us the end of May for Spring Fling
