New S200 Owner
Just wanted to say hi, i just purchased an S2000 on staurday on a 2001 plate, its one of the cars that has been on my wish list since i first saw one in 1999 and i am very happy to have it, i have owned and tuned a huge variety of cars from Mk1 golfs, Mazda RX8's to 330bhp Audi s3's and a 450bhp Nissan Pulsar GTIR.
It has 127k miles but full service history with no modifications and thats the main reason i bought it as everything i read said the cars were bullet proof along as they were serviced properly. My initial thoughts on the car are the back end is as slippy as they say in the wet (Saturday was torrential rain so was very very careful) the gearbox feels very mechanical and tight with no play in the gearstick at all (You can almost feel the gears moving togethor) and the clutch is incredibly light and very high.
I am aware that the engines are virtually perfect but any tips to get a little more torque out of it would be appreciatted.
Hopefully the pictures will attach properly.
