Default Muscle car lover minus 4 cylinders

I have been around a number of years and have always driven American V-8 cars. I have owned a couple five liter mustangs, a 1996 corvette, a LT1 camaro, and most recently a LS1 convertible Z28. The lease was ending and I was set on buying the final year of the SS convertible camaro. I read car magazines and kept reading about the S2000. I thought what is the big deal. I was convinced the lack of cubic inches and low end torque would be less than appealing. Crunch time was rapidly approaching and I figured I would drive one just to get the car off my mind. Wrong!! I had driven a C-5 with an automatic and a Z06 but nothing like the S2000. The razorsharp and ultraprecise shifter and clutch setup was light-years ahead of anything I have ever driven. The cars craftsmanship and attention to detail was astounding. The handling is light and easily appreciated. I was amazed. So I did the right thing........I bought one.

Congratz on your new purchase! I too once owned a 2000 trans-am WS6, and I can't agree with you more on the fact that the S2K is much more entertaining to drive. Welcome.
