Default New S2000 Owner

Hello,

I just wanted to say hi to everyone as I just purchased a 2007 NFR S2000 with only 5k miles on 12/31/08. This is a car I have wanted for the past 10 years, and never really thought I would own. My previous car was totaled due to being rear-ended while stopped at a red light on my birthday, so I figured the S2000 would be a nice gift to myself. I have already ordered a few things from modifry (thanks Bob). I haven't taken any photos of it myself, but you can see some photos the dealer had taken below.

Ya, I got a pretty good deal I think due to the economy and it being the end of the year. The car was purchased new only 6 months ago, and the previous owner was having knee surgery and was unable to drive a manual anymore. The car still has 2.5 years left on the factory warranty. Car is perfect, looks and smells like new!

Yeah...that was a steal of a deal. Is that Palm Chrysler Subaru in Gainesville? If you're located in Florida, come introduce yourself in our forum. We are a very active group. There is even a Florida Super Meet this Feb.

Yup, that's the dealership. Thanks for the heads up on the meet in Feb. What city will it be in?

Plant City--a little south of Lakeland.

Do you live in G'ville? If you make it over to Jax, we've started to have weekly meets on Tuesdays and a bi-weekly weekend meet every other Saturday.

Sorry, live in Tampa. I do have family in Gainesville, so I do get up that way on a somewhat regular basis.

OH...it is extremely important that you get seat locks if your car will be parked outside. Seat thefts are epidemic in Tampa. You can order seat locks by PMing Kodokan_4.

Ya, I didn't realize that until I came across this board. Kind of frightens me to be honest. I am debating about picking up the locks or just welding the bolts to prevent them from being able to be removed at all. I just wonder if any of the thieves have ordered a few sets of locks to get the different keys to remove them...
