Yeah, welding would do it for sure, but will sure be a PITA if you ever legitimately need to get the seats out. Kodokan has been pretty good about making sure owners are buying the locks. I've heard of a couple cars with seat locks being broken into and the seats were left.

No, I understand he does his best to make sure only owners get them. But an owner could just as easily be a thief (no offense to anyone), plus its not hard with today technology for someone to fake a vehicle registration or get a vin off ebay or other various auto sites. I still may buy a set of locks, as they do have the benefit of being removable unlike welding the oem bolts.
