New S2000 Owner
A few months ago while driving home from work I was t-boned out of the blue by a Nissan Murano as I was entering an intersection. The woman's excuse....she was reading her GPS looking for her happy hour location! And yes, she told this to the police.

I really like my 2006 TL. I bought her new and took great care with her. She only had 21,000 miles when she died. I had expected to keep her for another 5 years at least.
Fast forward, I was looking for a new car and just couldn't find anything that caught my interest. Then I stumbled upon the S2000. It took a while looking for and test driving several that came up for sale near me. I finally scored a very nice deal on a red 2007 S2000 with only 19k miles. I liked my TL, but I love this car. I've only had her for about a week so sorry about the poor pictures, I only have 2. One from the dealer and one from my phone in my garage.

I am very glad to have found a site like this. It has already been invaluable to me in my car purchase and I have already gotten great tips about the car.
Reading all the stolen seat posts has got me on edge. I'm trying to get a hold of Kodokan_4 ("Pete" I think?) to get some seat locks. I sent him a PM last week. I'm sure the seats locks are a side deal for him, so I am being patient (trying anyway).
Anyway, glad to be an S2000 owner!
Mike

Congrats! My previous car was also totalled which led to me getting this car. Best wreck I've ever been in
I had the same concern with the seats (I live in an apartment complex and my car stays outside 100% of the time). One thing you may want to consider is a decent alarm with proximity/shock sensor. The seat locks are good because it makes removing the seats nearly impossible, but they won't deter someone from trying. A decent alarm (along with flashing alarm indicator) can help do that.
