New S2000 Owner - Houston
Hello s2ki, I'm currently a college senior and I use to have a 2007 civic si a couple days ago. Long story short, my car was involved in a 5 car collision which resulted in a total loss for the civic. I hit the tow hitch of an f250. There's not much I could do when everyone is going 75 mph (yes thats the speed limit) and someone slams on the brakes which creates the domino effect. I wasn't tailgating btw either. All in all, the civic was a fun car with the good amount of mods I had installed.
I wanted to keep the cost of the car under 25k. I narrowed my choices down to a g37, 370z, or a WRX. After test drive all three cars, I ended up not liking it. The g37 felt too bulky and slow. I wasn't too fond of the 370z and the blind spots. The WRX, I can rant about all day but I didn't like the fact that you pay 30k for a car with a sound system that sounds like my old 97 camry as well as the cheap interior. Well, that's enough of me talking. Here are the pictures from the accident.

The new s2000. I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

And yes, I have looked at the thread created by "Themikewoo". That really helped a lot! I'll be sure to check all that stuff on the car.

It's an 06 with 21k miles and 2 owners. I'm currently the 3rd owner but the car looks very mint overall. I actually drove to Austin to pick this up!
On a side note. This has to be the most organized forum I've been on. The PM and everything is pretty neat.

Cool! You're going to love the car. I'm a severe motorhead and this is the longest I've ever owned a car. I bought mine in May of 2003 and still look forward to getting in it every day.
