Hey there guys. I have lurked on here for a few months starting a few threads because of some questions, but I think I want to formally introduce myself

I live in the Inland Empire, currently looking for an S2k group/crew for cruises/meets!

I own a 2000 Honda S2k Ap1 with F22C swap
I bought my S2k just like this in July 2016 with 120k miles, came with:

• Carbon fiber hood and trunk with CF duck tail
• Hard top
• HKS High power dual exit exhaust
• Function and form coil overs
• XXR wheels
• Custom widened quarter panels
• Front lip
• AEM CAI
• High flow cats
• Sound system with Ipad Mini dash kit (will show pics when I have the chance)
• Stage 3 clutch

Unfortunately, paying for the things myself at the age of 20, I made the very stupid impulse buy and bought the car without it being looked at or looking at carfax

Got sideswiped, differential went out, god rod knock, leaking slave cylinder, rough idle, and smoke coming from my exhaust lol

In 3 days, I put $4200 into the car and fixed everything!

I now have a:

• F22C with 85k miles
• AP1 tranny and clutch with 21k miles
• New slave cylinder
• AP1 diff with 40k miles
• New wheels

This is just an introduction of what me and my s2k have been through within just months of having it lol

Again, I am looking for crews/clubs because I am a solo rider and I unfortunately know no one with an S2k in my area. Pleasure to meet you all and hoping to be more active on this website

 

Welcome to the club! I, myself recently purchased a S2k as well. Looked over the car before I purchased but I still ended up running into some issues with it (I think it's unavoidable sometimes).

Either way ,I think it's great that you got the car sorted out. Enjoy her!
