Default New to the s2k but an og to Honda

What's up guys I recently picked up a 2003 Berlina Black S2000. I got it for one hell of a deal ($7500) and I am now in the process of fixing it up and converting the interior and exterior to AP2 and keeping the 9k redlining beast under the hood.
So far I have done the following modifications:

AP2 front and rear bumpers
AP2 headlights
AP2 V2 wheels
AP2 center console
AP2 cluster bezel
AP2 door panels
AP2 steering wheel
Espelir Springs

I'm currently planning on purchasing the following
AP2 tails
OEM hardtop
Greddy spectrum elite exhaust (dual)
OEM front lip
OEM side strakes

I've got to say I have owned many hondas such as civics, integras, preludes and even a crx and it is a whole different feeling when I sit in my S. I no longer hear the and feel the rattles of solid polyurethane motor mounts and ungodly loud exhaust, instead I'm driving smooth wiith ice cold AC. The pricing on modifying the S is a big leap from the Civic and Integra crowd as well but I see it as money well spent

I also own a K20 Honda Civic DX Coupe which makes 236 WHP and 161 TQ. I have been a Honda enthusiast since I was 12 and I've got to say there is no other car out there like the S2K!

Yep I jumped from an ls-vtec CRX Si to the S2000. I can't say I dislike the CRX, and I would never sell it, but it's nice to have a smooth, newish car with AC for once

Same here, I still have my EK but it feels so good to daily drive something smooth with ice cold AC lol. What mods do you have on the LSVTEC?

- wiseco forged pistons
- eagle b18c-length forged rods
- b18c crank
- b18b block
- b16a hydro trans
- competition clutch stg 4 6-puck sprung
- b18c5 head
- bored throttle-body
- ported intake manifold
- arp head studs

...and some other things I'm probably missing. Honestly, it feels a little faster than the S2000, but maybe isn't so surprising from a 2000lb car. Planned to turbocharge it, and have most of the expensive bits, but the S2K has became my new moneypit. Eventually when I have a garage and time I'll strip the CRX down to bare metal and rebuild like new. The suspension has 290k miles on it now, so as you can imagine it could use a bit of a refresh... And well, I still need a hardtop and turbo setup for the S2000

Yeah I kinda feel bad, like the CRX cries at night. It took me 15-20 min to get it started last weekend, after sitting for close to a month. Started it up tonight and did a drive around town just to keep the juices flowing. I plan to DD it again soon so I'm not putting 500-600 miles a week on the low-mile S2000, but I need to take care of some things first. Will probably persuade me to go ahead and turbocharge it...

There's a quick video, before the tune, with me granny-shifting. Once my DSLR mount comes in I want to do a comparison of my S and CRX, just so I can know which is faster Only shooting for 400-450 in the CRX, and will probably drive around with the boost set around 300, because it'd still be a ridiculous amount in a FWD tin-can.

Good stuff!

I contemplated a K swap, but it's a bitch-and-a-half in a CRX, and for the money and my goals it didn't make sense over a B-series. Definitely a nice engine.

The family, before I installed the AP2 OEM lip, smoked sidemarkers, black chrome H/S2000 emblems, seats, and a bunch of other goodies. Just need wheels, boost, and hardtop to complete it

Where's your S?
