New S2k Owner
Hi everyone,
I've always wanted a S2000 since they came out when I was in high school and finally had the chance to pull the trigger on one last weekend. A one-owner 2001 Silverstone car with 81,000 miles in amazing condition that has become my daily. Coming from being a long-time Porsche 944 Turbo owner I thought the S2000 couldn't be that much better, right? They're a little similar, but boy was I wrong. The Honda is just in another class, even with all it's quirks. Other Hondas I've owned over the years were a CR-Z and a K24 Si.
I do have to thank the forum for the amazing amount of pre-purchase info. I think I spent a full week reading everything to look out for and am thankful to everyone who put it together. I will say that no amount of reading will prepare you for loud clutch buzz, holy crap.

Congrats on your S2000, and welcome to s2ki
I have had pretty bad clutch buzz on my 01 as well since I purchased it a couple years ago. I think the only remedy is to replace the clutch/flywheel unfortunately, which I don't plan on doing until the clutch starts slipping. On the other hand, I have also become so used to it that it doesn't really bother me as much as it should
