Default New S2K owner

I recently got a 2005 S2K with 5K miles. The former owner must not have driven it much because I've put a thousand on it in the last month. It's my first roadster so I don't have a lot of experience driving this type car. So far it's been a fantastic driving experience. My only concern is that I've noticed that occasionally the steering seems to stick or lock up for maybe half a second when going through a curve or turn. It's just enough to get my attention and make me wonder what's up. The tires are original Potenzas and the pressure is 33 psi in all 4. I think it's happened in right and left turns. Is it a problem? What's happening?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

My first post and somehow I put in the wrong forum. The folks in UK were helpful, though. I think I've got the issue figured out now. I must have been feeling the effects of understeer thru the steering wheel. Does that sound reasonable?
Thanks
