Default New S2K owner here!

Hello everyone! I've been looking over the boards for quite some time but finally found some time to introduce myself. I'm from Upstate/Central NY and finally picked up my first S2000, a 2001 Silverstone AP1 with black interior. I've always loved these cars, so after finishing college and getting a job I quickly began looking for the perfect one in my price range. Drove all the way to Ohio and bought it from the second owner who took very good care of it. Only 56,000 miles, no accidents, always garage kept, never seen salt or snow, etc. Came with 20% tint, shaved front bumper, Injen intake, Skunk 2 springs, and a 2.5in custom exhaust. Before this I had two EM2 civics and my current daily driver is a MKIV GTI. I bought the car in January and drove it 400+ miles back to NY on one of the few days it warmed up and the roads were clear. I loved the drive home and can't wait to drive it this summer!

My EM2 (Previous)

MKIV GTI (Current)

The new AP1 (Current)

I only plan on lightly modding this car, since it was built so well to begin with. So far I've only picked up a Moddiction Anvil II shiftknob and an AP1 lip which needs to be painted. Possible future mods include: Spoon rearview mirror, Moddiction convex side mirrors, new headunit with modifry dci, better speakers, quality coilovers, and new wheels (possibly AP2's or Volk, Advan, Work, etc). I'm very excited to be here, contribute to the forums, and enjoy this awesome car!

Congrats. I just picked up my S2000 as well. Mine is a 2008 BB WITH 65K! Your's is looking good. LOW miles for the year. Sucks about the hard winters. Thats why I love living in Cali..

Go with the VOLKS.. Can't go wrong.

Thanks! Winters are definitely rough here

Volks are a definite possibility! I've always loved polished CCW's but unfortunately S2000's high offset makes them difficult to fit

Thanks for the link! Luckily the previous owner is a mechanic so he changed all the fluids before winter and it just had an alignment with the new rear tires
