new s2k owner needing a bit of help...
Hi everyone,
I have posted before asking for advice on buying a rebuilt-titled S2K. I finally pulled the trigger and bought one yesterday. It is an 04 w/ 49k miles. It was considered a total loss back in 2005 when the original owner got rear ended.
Yesterday I got a PPI and compression test done. The compression test came out well with all PSI to spec. There were a couple issues that came up with the PPI which the seller did tell me ahead of time. I am hoping you guys can help me figure out my cheapest options otherwise off to the Honda dealership it goes
-First problem is the O2 sensor causing the engine light to come on. The PPI test code is PO411 - Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect (MIL Light)
-Second problem is ABS System Mal. This coincides with the ABS light being on. I have no idea what this means. Seller did not notify me of this problem.
-AC condenser out of position (still working properly).
-Front bumper shield missing (the grill).
-Right fender cover missing (the mud flap that goes over the right front wheel).
Other problems I have noted:
-A couple dings/paint chips. Where to get OEM touchup paint?
-The floor door panel that has the S2000 emblem has come off on the passenger side. It looks like its missing the three white plastic screws that hold it in. Where to get those?
-The vinyl covers in the trunk (that cover the spare tire) are not attached. The black plastic screws to hold them in place are missing. Where to get those?
-The rear right spring is not functioning correctly. When I go over any bump it causes the rear right wheel to contact the frame. I would like to replace all the springs with OEM springs. Where is the cheapest place to get those? Do I just search for S2000 AP2 OEM springs? Is there a better aftermarket alternative with OEM settings?
-The rims that came with the car are semi-damaged and spraypainted black. Where to get OEM rims for cheap? or where to get aftermarket rims for cheap? What are the correct wheel/tire size to fit the OEM springs?
Also, should I bring the car in for a full-service at a Honda dealership or a private mechanic? I feel like the S2000 is specialized enough that it should go to a dealership albeit more expensive. I live in an apartment so I don't have much access to a working area.
Sorry for all the questions. I will be further browsing the forums to get some answers to the above questions but a quick point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

1. P0411 is related to the air pump, not the 02 sensor. There is a lot information in the "Under the hood" forum if you do a search.
2. Dealer may be able to further diagnose the ABS issue. The ABS lines are very fragile and I damaged one during a coilover install.
3. I suspect you have a more serious issue in the right rear. Just going by your description, I can't see how a spring would cause that issue. Springs would be super cheap as there are a ton available, might be able to score some for free in your local forum.
I would contact Enjoy Racing who is a site sponsor for any OEM parts you might need (clips, grill, fender liner, etc). A dealership may or may not be more qualified than a private mechanic. I would try to find someone with specific s2000 experience. Here in AZ we are lucky enough to have both Science of Speed and Enjoy.
