Default new s2k owner needs help?

im getting really bumed out, i bought my s2000 recently and today when i got to a stop light abunch of smoke came out my exhuast. i know its oil. and it does it only at a stop light/idle. it does go away after 30 seconds or so and it has to be warmed up, i checked the oil on the dipstick and its not black/burnt. what do u guys think it is. its got 110k miles. from a lil research i did, im thinking its the valve stem seals. how much do u think that would run me? any help will be appreciated. i dont really wanna take it to the dealer they tried ripping me off before.
thanx in advance

I would start off with a compression and leak down test to pin point where the 'problem' is. Sounds like worn out rings.

Did this just start happening or was this an issue from the time you bought the car? If it just started to smoke, can you recall any recent situations that may have caused the smoking to appear?
Did you miss shift and cause the engine to rev high or, loan the car to someone?

For your car to smoke heavy at every stop and go, bad rings can cause this. If it smokes for a bit when first started then, smokes a little on ever takeoff, that is more a valve seal issue. It could also be over full of oil???

No it didn't do it when I first bought it. In the morning when I go to work it won't do it, so I know it has to be at high temp but now it is starting to do it whenever it feels like it. I change it with 5w 30 royal purple, the oil level is good. I do have a cel but its because of the air pump. I checked the labor on doing the valve seals and it's 7.3 hours is that correct?

My car smoked and had shitty idle when my #2 spark plug started backing out a bit. After a couple minutes of stressful troubleshooting decided to check my plugs and the #2 was loose as shit. I re tightened the plug and everything was back to normal.

Btw, is the smoke blue? When my plug backed out the smoke was... brown which threw me off like crazy.
