Hi everyone I'm new to s2000s but I know I want one and should be getting one within a week. I have read the buyers guide on here already but I'm not to sure if its old or not. What I'm looking for is a 2000-2002. I have 2 in mind and both have bad soft tops so they need to be replaced. One guy is asking $9700 for his with 92k miles but I'm not sure because the ad says its being sold AS IS and doesn't really give much other info on how it runs. The other one says everything is great on it and they want $11800 and it only has 78k miles. My only problem is one is 660 miles north of me and the other is 760 miles to the east of me. So in other words if I drive to one I have to take it back home with me. So really my question is is there anything I should look out for on these older AP1s?

yeah sorry i saw that a while ago and just saw the thread for looking for cars just tonight. im kind of in shock on how hard of a time im having looking for a car. some of the people are dicks and one of them isnt even takeing the time to email me back after his first email i got. well i think i found one not far from me. my problem is i NEED to find a car no later than thursday. im really sorry for makeing this thread. ^_^;
