the new guy
hi i just got a new 2s000 and im lovin it but i want to know it anyone has a blown s2000 um just cheking and so what if you went over 5500 in under the first 600-1000 miles is that really bad for the car? thanks
search around for the sc'ed and turbo'ed s2000's
mine was a test drive car and had 140 miles on it when i got it and exceed 6k on my test drive but after i got it i waited until about 550 miles before i ran it up some to about 7k
its at 13.5k miles and still running strong had it dynoed at 204rwhp and has ran 13.93 in the 1/4 mile
, i kept trying to break sev's record but couldn't

First question: If you're referring to a supercharger, several members do have one made by Comptech and are very happy.
Second Question: Keeping the redline under 6K is recommended by Honda in order to break-in all the mehanicals properly; however, many have not adhered strictly to this, and as far as I know there have been no ill effects. I think it's better to be safe than sorry, though; you'll have plenty of time to enjoy VTEC.
