Hi, New to the site and looking for a clean title S for a while now. Currently have a miata but drove a friends S and it was night and day. Wife also wants one for carpool. Was also looking for a boxster but decided that might break down on us. Hope to have one soon.

I bet you'll find one soon. I was doing the same search a couple of months ago... I think southern California is one of the best places to live when it comes to finding used cars.

Are you looking for specific colors or anything like that?

When I was looking, my priorities were:
1. Clean
2. Stock
3. Reasonable Mileage for Year
4. AP2

I did have color preferences, but if I found one that matched the above (at a decent price) I wouldn't have cared if it were pink. Actually...pink would have probably been pretty cool. But then, I guess that would violate number 2 on my list huh?

Anyway, depending on your "wants" I bet you'll find one pretty soon. I only had to look at two in person to find the right one.

Oh man the pickings are ripe. Just for grins I checked Autotrader for S2k's within 50 miles of my LA zip code and found 60 of them. Good luck I bet you can even find one for your wife's tiny carpool.

Really want a white one but thinking about any color now. I like the look of the ap1 more too for some reason.

Yes, in so cal where I live carpool needs 3 people during rush hour unless you max out the car.

I also have some old racing harts just waiting to be put on.

 

finally picked one up. Clean title, first owner, decent miles, but ap1. Black. Now looking for a stock ap1 lip on ebay and maybe some springs. Then i'll put on my whels.
