New user, hopefully future owner.
Hello all. Start by introducing myself. I am a 23 year old Manufacturing Engineer. I am, to say atleast, a huge car fanatic. My passions are more into older, muscle cars, but until the new camaro gets released, i hope to be the owner of a nice used S2000.
I am not as familiar with the S as i would like, so i joined here in hopes i could get a few questions answered by some of the more well versed members.
First, the S i am looking at is a 2003 with 35k miles. The Honda dealership has it for 19,900. Very good condition, inside and out. How does this price sum up to average?
Second, being i only plan on owning this vehicle for maybe 2 years, how reliable are these vehicles? Honda has a great name for reliablility, so i assume it transitions into this vehicle aswell.
Third, i am not looking at modding this car, but a nice hardtop would be great. Any cons to some of the hardtops out there?
And my apologies for not crusing the forum for some of my answers, i assumed being i wanted to introduce myself aswell as ask a few questions, it would be alright.

for reference, i paid 21.5 for my 03 a year ago with only 13k on the clock.
as for reliability, my only problem has been a rear end that went bad, but it was aftermarket, and installed on the car before i got it.
stay away from the mooncraft HT, it is ugly.
good luck with the search, and enjoy the car, it is a blast to own and drive.
