Proud new owner from NW PA
Hello S2ki!
My name is Matt and I live in Erie, PA. I've been creeping around the site now for a couple years now. Such great info and friendly members on here. It really helped in the past 4-5 months when I was looking for an S2000. I've been in love with this wonderful car for about 5-6 years now. I am finally able to afford one and why not buy a nice toy while I'm single, no kids. You get the idea!
This past Saturday I drove down to Monongahela, PA to buy a 2004 New Formula Red Honda S2000 from a great private owner. The previous Saturday I went down and looked at it. Left a deposit and agreed on a price before I returned home.
I am 4th owner and it is extremely clean. It currently has 42,XXX miles on it. For an 8 year old car, there are a few very small flaws only I would notice. For the mileage, and price I got it for, my friends yell at me for being so picky with it. It is all stock and I LOVE it the way it is. I am still in shock I actually have one now!
My previous fun car was a 1996 Civic hatchback that I bought back in October 2008. It was a bare shell when I brought it home. After a couple years of wrenching on it, I ran it with a B16A2 with intake, header, exhaust. ITR LSD trans, KYB AGX + Neuspeed Race springs, Si front and rear sway bars. Interior sported Recaro seats, a dash and well, that was it. Ran a number of local autox's and drove it daily when it was nice out. It was an absolute blast to drive and I do miss it some days. I started to part it out around this past December/January in preparation to buy an S. I currently still own a 96 EX coupe that will see winter duties.

Plans aren't too exciting. Star Specs in the front as the rears already have set. I will be changing all the fluids once I get back to work tomorrow (I am a technician at the local Honda dealership). Check the alignment. I also plan to buy a nice arsenal of cleaning products. Again, this is where the site and detailersdomain come in handy! Previous owner kept it waxed and in the garage, and I will continue to do the same! Only difference is I do plan to run the local autocross events. It will be hard at first because the car is so clean, but I feel that's what it's made to do! I would like to do an intake and exhaust at some point, but its hard to say. I really enjoy the car in stock form.
Only decent picture for now. I have some other crappy ones on my Facebook.

Looking forward to becoming a part of this great community and meet some new friends.
Thanks all,
Matt

Nice, dude. I picked up mine from Lancaster! I can't recall the dealers name at the moment, but they have a network of dealers right next to one another. I think it starts with a 'D'. Got it for a steal
Anyways, congrats!

Anyways, congrats!
