Newb, thinking about s2000

I really want a car that is really reliable and pretty good on gas, and handles like it's on rails. Thats why i want a s2000.
FWIW, I had a '95 LT1 Z28 6spd for a while. Loved the look, loved the engine, loved the 6-spd, loved the sound, but the thing drove/handled like the pig it was. Like a 2-door Caprice with artificially heavy but dead numb steering.
I've driven a buddy's LS1 Z28 at the track (NHIS). Not exactly enjoyable compared to just about any other car I've tracked (FC RX-7, 240SX's, my tweaked 240Z
), and we both got beat (in damp conditions) by a nearly as heavy, significantly less powerful, but way better-handling 350Z (which I normally beat in my S2000).I have a soft spot for 4th-gen F-bodies, but they are not exactly fun cars to drive, handling-wise.
Yeah the S2K is for all the reasons mentioned above. It is not a dragster.
It is top down, and watch the people stare. Many people hove no idea what it is.
Women young and old love it.
It will make you cry in turns.
It is in my opinion the best bang for the buck.
oh yeah guys like it to ha ha!
