Hi all,
Purchased an 06 Bermuda Blue S2000 GT last Friday and am enjoying the experience so far!
I would like to say hello to all the current members!
As an intro is there anything really important i should know about owning one of these banzai cars?
Thanks,
Simon.

Thanks for the tips, will get some pics up soon!
In reference to the drifting i have been pushing it a little bit more this week, and have discovered it can be a real handful, but also alot of fun!

Welcome, Simon. I've had my AP1 for a couple of years now and it still puts a smile on my face everytime I hit 6k RPM's
Regarding your question of anything you should know: I found it helpful to read some of the sticky threads regarding FAQ's, Oil Journals, and stuff like that. There is a lot of info. on this site and a lot of do it yourself advice that will save you$$$
Hope you've found the "secret" compartment and fuel cap release knob

Congrats on the car. Some things I was either told or researched myself prior to purchase that I think are very important:
1. Don't skip gears. It will kill your synchros.
2. Check oil often. At least weekly.
3. The differential is weak. Likely the weakest part of the car so no abuse--hard launches, donuts, etc.
4. Make sure your top is retracting properly to prevent premature tearing: http://www.modifry.com/products/ctf/details.htm
Any questions, feel free.
