I just ran a carfax report for an s2000 i'm looking at buying and the report's estimated owners states "At least 1 owner" With no date and no location. It also says "This car was check for 8 types of registrations." It found no registrations at all - not even a personal use registration. What does this mean? Does it mean the car is not registered at all? Thanks.

 

Could it have never been titled? It is from a dealership? Maybe a demo car?

F*** CARFAX......They are worthless.......I am in the middle of a suit against them on my car.....they have a serious deficiency in their reporting!!!

 

The car is in Epping, New Hampshire. He bought it from a dealership. I know that he had his engine replaced due to the spark-plug dilemma, and it was still under warranty at that time.
