I think for the same price as an 04-05 S2000 you can only get like a 91-94 NSX because the NA2's are well in the 40's and above
That being said, I would personally get the NSX. Although like another poster said, you have to take into account the added costs of the NSX. Insurance and maintenance.
What you're really looking at is this...you may be able to buy an NSX but cat you afford to own an NSX. Two very different things.

Actually I take back some of what I posted. You need to check Autotrader.com. You're only going to get a higher mileage 91-92 or possibly a high mileage 93 NSX.
You can find 04-05 S2000's all day long for $27,000 and under with well under 20,000 miles on them. Some under 10,000 miles. You may find maybe 2 or 3 91-92 NSX's between 60 and 70,000 miles for that price. Those won't be the finest specimens. Most NSX's at that price are going to have between 80,000 and 120,000 miles on them.
To find a NICE 91-92 NSX you need to look in the $35,000 range. It's that simple. Realistically a nice 94-97 NSX isn't even in the realm of possibility at the price you're looking at.
So basically what you're looking at is getting a 2 year old car with possibly under 10,000 miles on it or a 15 or 16 year old car with anywhere between 65,000 and 120,000 miles on it.
It's a simple decision for me. Unless of course you're going to step up into the $35,000 range and get a nice 15 year old NSX. There again however you're going to be getting into hidden costs of ownership on a 15 year old vehicle. The timing belt and water pump service alone is like $1,500 on the NSX. Would you want to take the chance on an interference engine that they have ben changed at the appropriate intervals during those past 15 years. I sure wouldn't. There's a cost right off the bat, unless you have recent records to prove otherwise. Some of the 91 and 92 NSX's also suffer from a "snap ring" problem in the transmision. I believe that's a $1,500-2,000 repair. Maybe a hidden cost maybe not.
At your price I would go with the S2000.

There's a GPW with tan interior AP2 at an Infinite dealer near me (Tallahassee, FL). Prestige Infiniti if you want to Google it.
I noticed it the other day and remember wishing I had AP2 wheels on my MY02.
