Default NW PA New Owner

So I finally got my S2000. Rather long story but here it goes.

I have had quite a few hondas over the the last 20 years ranging from 85 crx's to 04 TSX. All row-yer-own. I traded my 04 TSX for a GR series STi hatch earlier this year. That was an entertaining car anyway I look at it. But I always dreamed about getting a S2000. I teased myself over the years test driving a few but never could pull the trigger as I didnt want to DD the S2000 due to the amount of snow we can get in NW PA. I know there are plenty out there that get winter shoes for the S2000 but I require a commuter car.

My employment recently changed and I found myself getting a 08 Civic that currently clocks almost 40 mpg ( I drive most 1000 miles a week ). I then found myself with the oddest (imo) garage queen, the STi.

So my almost retired mother calls me after taking her TSX in for a checkup to tell me about this nice S2000 the local Acura dealer has. For giggles I went the next day at lunch just to see it. I pull in the lot in my brash STi and then I see her. Black on black 2007 S2000. She looks good, really, really good and I force myself to walk away. I head back home to grab my old checklist that I formed from this site. I return later that night with my list thinking I will find something wrong and find my reason to walk away.

I am checking her out and I cannot find anything wrong. The salesman that has worked with my family for 20 years sees me and gives me the keys for a drive.

Ok I am going to shorten this up. The 2007 S2000 is now my garage queen. I got her with just under 6k on the odometer. She looks and feels brand new!

I have list of things that need to be done preventively but other than that she is brand new.

One seriously happy S2000 owner!

This site has been a wealth of information and will continue to be so.

Yep got her at Contemporary. I am sure we will see each other around. Tonight looks like a good topless evening to take a cruise!

Cool. Bianchi Honda originally sold that car. I saw it still had the TSW wheels on it. Does it still have the Injen intake? Believe it or not, I watched a 70 year old lady buy that car and drive it off the lot.

It does not have an injen cai at this time. Her name is Gertrude and she traded it and another Acura in for a new MDX. Story goes her hubby passed and she hated his vettes. She took very good care of the s2k.

I take it you work or worked at Bianchi. Still? I just got my commuter civic there at the end of august.
