One month in and loving it!
Hi all,
I've had a S2000 (year 2000 AP1?) for a month now and absolutely love it.
I have just sold my 911 996 Turbo S, which was a beast (I really need to pay some money off my mortgate
), but I have to say that the S2000 brings just as big a smile to my face as the the 911. it is soooo chuckable, and the engine (whilst taking a bit of getting used to) is a rip snorter. I had forgotten how much fun can be had in a pocket rocket!
I really would like to change the alloys for some 17" beasties, but having read your thread re offsets etc, I'm confused. I would like to fit some new shocks to lover the car a tad, but don't want to have to roll the arches.
Can any of you smart guys give me a rundown on answers to any of the above. I know some people prefer coilovers etc...
This will be a street car, not for track days, but I would like to improve the handling a tad.
Oh, and a great forum by the way
