Looking for a AP1/early AP2
Hi there, as much as I like to tell everyone I just picked one up, me and the gf are still looking for a mint AP1 or early AP2 at a reasonable price.
We're in Vancouver BC but can import one from the US... in the meantime hi everyone...great board!
I'm coming from a MR2 Turbo myself.. my gf just sold her NA Miata looking to get another convertible. After driving a few S2000 I have to say the NA buzz and watching the digital tach climb sure comes close to hearing the turbo spool : )

Yep, VTEC = a reverse turbo (or is that an inverse turbo?)
Coming from an MR2 Turbo myself, I know what you mean. There are a surprising number of current and former MR2 owners who now own s2ks. Sold my turbo when it reached 283k, but bought a '95 MR2 NA as a winter beater to go along with my '05 s2k.
I've always said if Toyota made a 2005 MR2 Turbo, I would have bought that instead of the s2k. Some say they do in that the Lotus Elise carries a Toyota engine and that the early MR2's suspension was designed by Lotus engineer Roger Becker. So the Elise is likely my next car...love the handling of the s2k, but I miss the mid-engine feel.
But you'll love the s2k--good luck in finding the right one for you and let us know when you get it!

Welcome to the board! Good luck with your search, there are a lot of S2's for sale on the board! If you want to deal with a dealer you might PM Truong (Edward), he's our CO and he works at Carter Honda on Burrard.
